Reintroducing Figma Weave with 20+ new workflows for AI-native design

  • Written by Business Daily Media

Figma officially reintroduced Weavy as Figma Weave, a visual canvas that brings together the world’s leading AI models with professional editing tools for creative production. Following
Figma's acquisition of Weavy in October 2025, this announcement marks the next milestone for AI-native creation with the introduction of more than 20 workflow templates to help teams create and edit imagery, video, audio, and 3D assets.

In just over a year since its initial launch, Figma Weave has quickly gained traction among leading companies including DoorDash, Lyft, and NVIDIA.

  • The Creative Studio at Lyft transformed a traditional brand photoshoot into a scalable system with Figma Weave: a small production crew captured the base imagery, and Weave handled the rest—swapping cars, cities, backgrounds, and lighting conditions on demand. The result was a continuously evolving content library featuring genuine human photography with customizable surroundings.

  • NVIDIA used Figma Weave to create a cinematic robot scene for a CES keynote. The team generated low-fidelity 3D models to establish composition and camera angles, then created detailed 4K versions to fit the final frame. A custom AI agent, also built in Figma Weave, enabled rapid lighting exploration before the scene was generated, upscaled to 12K resolution, and selectively refined for detail.

“Figma Weave exists because we saw a need for a new paradigm in media production—one where you can combine AI models, shape every step, and scale your process, with the speed of AI and the standards of a professional workflow,” shared Itay Schiff, ‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌Co-founder & Chief Creative Officer, Figma Weave. “We're excited to bring Weave to more Figma users, and I can’t wait to see what our community creates next.”

The new workflow templates are designed to help teams immediately start building and scaling reusable AI workflows, turning images into videos, generating 3D models, combining reference styles, comparing image models, and much more.

To bring Figma Weave deeper into the design and product development process, the company will offer select Figma users 1,000 Weave credits to explore the broad range of generative AI capabilities. A full integration between Figma Weave and the broader Figma platform is expected later this year.
