Reventon’s Brick by Brick Charity Build to Auction Fully Furnished Family Home

Imagine transforming a $1 million dream home into hope and security for countless Australians in need. Imagine no more.

In a groundbreaking act of generosity, Reventon, a Melbourne-based property investment and wealth management firm, is donating the entire proceeds of a new family home to St Vincent’s de Paul Victoria (Vinnies) to help the homeless.

Every single dollar from the sale will go directly to charity. The impeccably crafted, fully furnished home at 273 Boundary Road, Mount Duneed is expected to fetch around 1 million dollars. The auction will be held at midday on  December 8, 2024, at 12 PM.

All proceeds will benefit the St Vincent de Paul Society of Victoria (Vinnies), channeling crucial funds toward essential services that support those facing housing insecurity.

Through this initiative, called the Brick by Brick Charity Build, Reventon is blending real estate with philanthropy in a powerful way. This unique project isn’t just about offering a family a beautiful home; it’s about generating life-changing support for vulnerable Australians. Developed in partnership with Hermitage Homes, the auctioned property boasts five spacious bedrooms and luxurious, modern amenities designed for comfortable family living.

Chris Christofi, CEO of Reventon and a passionate advocate for Vinnies’ mission, has dedicated years to raising awareness about homelessness. Through initiatives like the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, he has raised over $800,000 for the cause.

“This project is more than just a house; it’s about building hope,” Christofi said. “Every dollar raised will help provide essential services to those in need.”

The residence is designed for luxury and functionality, making it an ideal choice for families or investors alike. Key features include:

  • Five spacious bedrooms, including a ground-floor guest suite.
  • Three versatile living areas: a formal lounge, family room, and media/games room.
  • A gourmet kitchen equipped with high-end appliances and ample storage.
  • An inviting outdoor alfresco area perfect for entertaining.
  • Sustainability features, incorporating energy-efficient designs.

“We’re immensely proud to be involved in a cause that allows us to give back in a tangible and impactful way,” said Mr Christofi. “By auctioning this home, we’re raising funds and awareness for homelessness as a critical issue in our communities.”

Addressing a Growing Crisis

Homelessness remains a pressing issue across Australia, with over 122,000 people currently facing housing insecurity. The situation is especially challenging in Melbourne due to rising living costs and a significant housing shortage. Through the Brick by Brick project, Reventon aims to raise funds to support essential services provided by Vinnies.

“Every dollar raised from this auction will go toward essential services,” said a spokesperson for Vinnies Victoria. “Just $75 can feed a family for a day; the funds raised from this home will make a huge difference for many struggling Australians.”

An Ambitious Goal

The total investment in land and construction is approximately $600,000, expecting the property to sell for between $900,000 and $1 million. This initiative highlights the importance of community engagement in tackling homelessness.

To maximise its impact, Reventon chose Mount Duneed for this project, known for its vibrant community atmosphere and proximity to essential amenities.

Project Timeline and Partnerships

The Brick by Brick initiative showcases collaboration and shared purpose:

  • Inception: The idea stemmed from Christofi's desire to auction a home for charity.
  • Partnerships: Collaboration with Vinnies and Hermitage Homes was instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
  • Completion: The home is fully furnished and styled, ready for its new owners on auction day.

“We couldn’t have realised this vision without the incredible support from Vinnies and Hermitage Homes,” said Christofi.

Join the Auction and Make a Difference

The Brick by Brick auction welcomes all participants, offering both in-person and online bidding options. Reventon encourages buyers, community members, and supporters of Vinnies to take part in this opportunity, not only to secure a beautiful home but also to create lasting change for Australians in need.
