Rumba Beach Resort
has welcomed the recent announcement that it has been recognised through the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program having met the ATAP standards of excellence.

The distinctive “tick” logo will now be proudly displayed at Caloundra's Rumba Beach Resort providing visitors the assurance that this tourism business has a proven commitment to the highest quality of service standards.

With this news, General Manager Bill Darby acknowledges the team commitment that forms the bedrock of such an accolade.  It is heartening to achieve this recognition as our team has worked hard over the past 4 years to adopt world's best practice in customer service standards matched by efficiency of back-of-house procedures, to improve the visitor experience, he continued.

Tourism businesses that undergo accreditation are committed to offering visitors the highest quality service and levels of excellence.

Accreditation provides customers with an assurance that participating businesses are committed to professionalism in both their business operations and delivery of service.

“We cannot afford to rest on our laurels, we will continue to ensure that Rumba Beach Resort stands at the forefront of quality service and customer excellence through technology and innovations that enhance  every facet of the customer experience,” said Mr Darby.

“We need to ensure that we are able to cater to increasing numbers of visitors to the Sunshine Coast, and maintain our region's status as an iconic nature-based destination,” said Mr Darby.

“Whilst we are thrilled with the announcement, this award highlights the need for all levels of Government to commit to continued improvements to grow the visitor economy and grow the tourist sector throughout the Sunshine Coast,” Darby said.
