4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SOLUM, a global retail technology solutions provider, is expanding its Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) business across Australia through new deployments with leading consumer electronics retailer Bing Lee and premium grocery retailer The Natural Grocery Company, reinforcing its presence in the Oceania retail market.

SOLUM is supporting the expansion of ESL deployments across multiple Bing Lee stores as part of the retailer's ongoing digital transformation initiatives. Bing Lee is extending its ESL rollout to reduce the manual effort associated with paper price labels while improving price accuracy and overall store operational efficiency. Australia's leading consumer electronics trade publication Appliance Retailer has also reported on Bing Lee's expanding adoption of ESL technology.

In addition, SOLUM has supplied ESL solutions to The Natural Grocery Company, enabling real-time price updates, faster promotional changes, and improved pricing accuracy. By replacing traditional paper labels with digital shelf labels, store employees can spend less time on repetitive pricing tasks and focus more on serving customers and enhancing the in-store shopping experience.

SOLUM's ESL platform enables retailers to remotely update pricing and product information through a centralized management system. This approach helps reduce labor-intensive manual processes and pricing errors while supporting sustainability efforts through a reduction in paper label waste.

"Through our partnership with Bing Lee, we are proud to contribute to the retailer's store modernization efforts," said Paul Kyriakos, General Manager at SOLUM Australia. "For The Natural Grocery Company, our ESL solution supports real-time pricing, rapid promotional updates, and greater pricing accuracy. A premium shopping experience is built not only on product quality, but also on a store environment that responds quickly and accurately to both retailer and customer needs."

SOLUM continues to expand its ESL footprint across a growing range of Australian retail sectors, including consumer electronics and grocery. The company plans to further collaborate with retail partners across Oceania to accelerate the adoption of digital store infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency throughout the region.
